Conveyancing and Real Estate Section

We have established a vibrant section within this division specializing in property transactions, conveyancing and real estate development. Through the division, our firm is on hand to assist clients with interest in the property and real estate sector. The department prepares leases, tenancies,sale agreements, transfers, charges and mortgages, powers of attorney, assignments, registers cautions and caveats and deals with all other conveyancing related instruments.

Our firm is unique in this area in that we have introduced the element of value addition.In this regard we have entered into reciprocal arrangements which credible firms of surveyors, property agents & managers and auctioneers, who are on hand to offer real estate related services such as sub-divisions and consolidations, property valuation, property management and agency services, collection and distress  for rent and evictions.

Commercial  Section

Within the division is also the commercial section which offers legal support services in a wide array of business transactions. This department assists clients to prepare such agreements as trade and investment contracts, credit and financing agreements, labour and employment contracts, agency and outsourcing contracts, distribution agreements, leasing and hire agreements, hire purchase agreements, franchises, entertainment contracts, sale of goods, merchandising and sponsorships,  management buyouts, debentures and chattels mortgages.

Company and Business Secretarial Section

This section grew out of necessity and deals with incorporation of companies, company restructuring, registration of business names, formation of limited and non limited liability partnerships, franchises, joint ventures, formation of NGOs, trusts, charities, co-operative societies, savings and credit co-operative societies, trade unions and even political parties.

The company section also undertakes change of directorships, share swaps and transfers, change of names, change of particulars and name searches for our corporate clients. We also offer dipository of incorporation certificates and documents, share certificates, company seals  and other crucial corporate instruments.We have for this purpose retained a full time Certified Company Secretary (CPS) who also prepares annual returns on behalf of our clients and  are open to annual retainer agreements for purposes of company secretarial work.

One of the notable achievements in this area, is that our Head of Conveyancing & Commercial Division was recently retained as the Lead Legal Advisor to guide the incoporation of a subsidiary Bank in Mogadishu in the Republic of Somalia.
